-

Accenture has recently acquired Gevity, a Canadian management and consulting firm that focuses on providing professional services to healthcare clients that are interested in sustainable and effective healthcare, social services, and life sciences solutions.

Founded in 1995, Gevity, based in Victoria, British Columbia, works with organizations in the healthcare sphere, such regulators, non-profits, and healthcare providers themselves. With approximately 100 experts and practitioners in offices across Canada—who support clients globally—Gevity specializes in providing strategic consultancy services in areas such as solution implementation, program management, health systems integration, and informatics and analytics.

“Over the last 25 years, Gevity has been focused on delivering on its mission to enable a healthier world by helping clients modernize for the future,” said Marc Koehn, CEO of Gevity. “By joining Accenture’s global Health practice, with its leading capabilities in digital, design, cloud, security and customer experience, we can together have a greater impact on the transformation of Canada’s healthcare industry and open up exciting career opportunities for our team members.”

This is Accenture Canada’s second acquisition in 2021, and demonstrates its focus on strengthening its capabilities in the Canadian market.
